One of the two sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, a captain in Saul’s army. He and his brother Rechab assassinated Ishbosheth ([2 Sam. 4:2](/2sam#2Sam.4.2)), and were on this account slain by David, and their mutilated bodies suspended over the pool at Hebron (5, 6, 12).
