Verse of the Week

Verse of the Week

11/02/2025 — 11/08/2025

Each week, we highlight a powerful passage to help refocus our hearts and minds on what truly matters — walking with Christ daily. Take a moment to reflect, share it with someone who needs encouragement, and let His Word be the foundation of your week.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

— Psalm 119:105

What We Believe — The Doctrines of Grace

We hold to a historic, reformed, and confessional Christian faith grounded in the absolute authority of Scripture. Salvation is a sovereign work of God from beginning to end — not earned by human effort, but given freely by grace through faith in Christ alone.

T — Total Depravity

Because of the fall, every part of mankind is corrupted by sin — our minds, wills, and desires. Man is spiritually dead and unable to come to God apart from His grace.

Ephesians 2:1 • Romans 3:10–12

U — Unconditional Election

Before the foundation of the world, God chose a people for Himself — not based on foreseen faith or merit, but solely according to His will and mercy.

Ephesians 1:4–5 • Romans 9:15–16

L — Limited Atonement

Christ’s sacrifice perfectly accomplished salvation for the elect. His atonement actually saves — it does not merely make salvation possible.

John 10:11 • Matthew 1:21

I — Irresistible Grace

When God calls His people, the Holy Spirit draws them with power — giving new birth, opening eyes, and granting faith to believe the Gospel.

John 6:44 • Ezekiel 36:26–27

P — Perseverance of the Saints

Those whom God saves, He keeps. True believers persevere in faith by God’s preserving power and can never be lost.

John 10:27–29 • Philippians 1:6

Salvation is of the LORD — Jonah 2:9
